Description
The Chablis Terroir de Fleys by Patrick2Piuze hails from a single vineyard located in the village of Fleys, on the right bank of the Serein, bordered by the Premier Cru Mont de Milieu and Les Forneaux, planted on kimmeridgian marl and limestone soils and cultivated using sustainable methods with manual harvesting.
The grapes are fermented and aged on fine lees in used barrels for about ten months, without the use of selected yeasts and without fining or filtration, following Piuze's distinctive style to enhance the terroir even in village-level wines.
It presents a bright straw yellow color; the nose reveals aromas of citrus (green lemon, grapefruit), pear, white peach, with delicate spicy notes and saline minerality of flint. On the palate, it displays crisp acidity, vibrant structure, sapidity, and a long finish.
Ideal to pair with shellfish, seafood, or fatty fish in delicate preparations.
