Chambertin Grand Cru AOC Cuvée Heritiers Latour 2016 Louis Latour

Le Chambertin is a Cru of the Côte de Nuits, in Burgundy, which went down in history for the quality of the wines that flow from it. It is an area where there is a very particular limestone soil, which is presented in a brown color.

The Pinot Noir grapes, which make up entirely the blend of this noble wine, ferment in steel tanks and refine, for 10-12 months, in wooden barrels.

Its ruby red color already gives suggestions of red fruit, which are invariably found on the nose together with ripe cherry and delicate spices. The taste is straight, fine, elegant and refined with a tannin perfectly integrated with the complexity of the mouth. It rests on an excellent body and lasts for a long persistence.

Perfect to accompany a beef sirloin in cheese sauce.
