Chambertin Grand Cru AOC 2017 Domaine Jacques Prieur

A Pinot Noir from Chambertin, a well-known Burgundy Grand Cru of the Côte de Nuits, where the deep and dark soils guarantee incredible complexity to the most elegant red berry in France

The Pinot Noir grapes are harvested by hand from a vineyard parcel of just 0.49 hectares. It carries out alcoholic and malolactic fermentation and then refines in oak barrels for about 20 months.

From the ruby red calyx, fruity and floral scents rise on an intriguing spicy finish. In the mouth it is soft and full-bodied, in the tracks of freshness and finesse. Juicy, rich in taste and embellished with smoky notes: it hints at a complexity to be developed and discovered more and more in evolution.

To be combined with a venison cutlet in red fruit sauce.
