Description
The Champagne Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru from Besserat de Bellefon is of great purity and elegance, made exclusively with Chardonnay sourced from six exceptional Grand Crus: Avize, Chouilly, Cramant, Mesnil-sur-Oger, Oger, and Oiry. This cuvée represents the "Haute Couture" signature of the maison, a synonym for refinement and expressive precision.
The winemaking follows the traditional method of Besserat de Bellefon, with a limited addition of liqueur de tirage, responsible for a fine, creamy, and persistent mousse. The absence of malolactic fermentation retains the wine's freshness and tension, while aging for three years on the lees, followed by at least six months after disgorgement, helps define a vibrant and chiseled structure.
It presents a bright yellow color with luminous reflections. On the nose, mineral and saline notes, fresh citrus, and acacia flowers emerge in a subtle and delicate bouquet. On the palate, it impresses with its energy, chalky texture, and precision, offering a tense, vibrant, and extraordinarily elegant sip.
Ideal with scallop carpaccio with white truffle oil or with grilled Atlantic lobster.
