Description
Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label is a Champagne produced in the prestigious Champagne region, symbolizing the excellence of the maison Veuve Clicquot. Its distinctive character comes from a skillful blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Meunier, varieties that best express the unique terroir of the area, characterized by a cool climate and chalky soils.
The winemaking process involves the use of 50-60 selected Crus with great attention and a blend curated by the Chef de Caves to maintain stylistic consistency and constant quality over time. The reserve wines play a fundamental role in balancing the product, while fermentation and aging take place in steel to preserve its freshness and vivacity.
In the glass, it boasts a bright golden yellow color with fine and persistent perlage. On the nose, it expresses a complex bouquet with notes of peach, Mirabelle plum, and pear, enriched by delicate hints of vanilla and toasted brioche. On the palate, it stands out for its structure, balance, and a long aromatic persistence.
Ideal for accompanying fish tartare, salmon, seafood, or Parmesan shavings, enhancing each bite with its refined freshness. This Champagne is made to be enjoyed immediately, but it can be stored for a few years to further develop its complexity. It is recommended to consume it within 3-5 years to fully enjoy its fresh and lively characteristics.
