Champagne Brut Nature Blanc de Noirs AOC Cuvée Royale 2009 Joseph Perrier

Joseph Perrier's Champagne Cuvée Royale Blanc de Noirs comes from a very specific area and a limited area, located in the municipality of Cumières.

It consists of a 100% Pinot Noir, harvested from the vines belonging to the Premier Cru Côte à Bras. This historic parcel has been owned by the Maison since 1865 and therefore represents a symbol of the company and its style. The harvest is followed by a vinification in steel, which involves both alcoholic and malolactic fermentation. Once bottled, it begins its re-fermentation phase, with a stop on the lees for 6 years.

Golden yellow, at sight, it is enlivened by a multitude of fine and persistent bubbles. Its bouquet is reminiscent of rocky mineral notes, honey, plum and pastry. In the mouth it is creamy and very fresh, enhanced by the refinement of the bubble and the almond finish. Great balance, in the aromas and in the body.

Perfect with an appetizer based on raw prawns.
