Description

De Venoge is a historic Maison located in the Champagne dell'Epernay. The "Cordon Bleu" line is inspired by the blue ribbon worn by members of the prestigious chivalric order of the French monarchy of the Holy Spirit. It is obtained from a cuvée of Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier from some of the most suitable crus of Champagne elaborated according to the de Venoge style with a stop on the lees for 4-5 years.

The color is straw yellow with slight golden reflections, animated by a fine and persistent perlage. On the nose it expresses a palette of aromas that ranges from yellow-fleshed fruit, to black currant, to aniseed with hints of toasted accompanying. In the mouth it is broad, powerful and fresh.

It is ideal to accompany white meats and foie gras.
