Description
Maurice Grumier's Champagne Brut Blanc de Noirs comes from vineyards located in the municipality of Vrigny, in the heart of the renowned Marne, a sub-area of the AOC Champagne.
It is made from Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir black grapes, harvested and selected only by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks and large oak barrels at controlled temperature. After malolactic fermentation, following two years of aging sur lie (on the lees).
Maurice Grumier's Champagne Brut Blanc de Noirs is characterized by a straw yellow color with golden reflections and a fine and persistent perlage. The nose opens with enveloping aromas of crunchy yellow pulp fruit, enriched with characteristic hints of bread crust and yeast. On the palate it is creamy and balanced, with a pleasant persistence.
Excellent as an aperitif, it is ideal in combination with appetizers and first courses.
