Chassagne-Montrachet AOC 1er Cru Les Caillerets 2017 Domaine Fontaine-Gagnard

Another nuance of Chardonnay, the particularly elegant and refined one of the Montrachet area and its surroundings, signed by the Domaine Gagnard.

The fermentation of this Burgundian white wine takes place solely by means of indigenous yeasts. The aging continues for at least 12 months in wood, in partially new barrels.

It is presented in a straw yellow dress, with beautiful brightness and chromatic intensity. The nose involves with sunny and sweet fruity notes, reminiscent of melon now and white peach. In the mouth it envelops the palate with a sip with soft movements but perfectly balanced by acidity. The aromatic strength is clear, expressed in a juicy and drinkable character.

Ideal as an accompaniment to a dish of prawns with butter.
