Description

The Chianti Classico Riserva of Castello di Ama was born in vineyards located on the hills between Gaiole and Radda in Chianti, in the heart of the Chianti Classico.

It is produced 80% with Sangiovese grapes and 20% with Malvasia Nera, Merlot and Cabernet Franc grapes. After pressing and destemming of the grapes, the must ferments in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 30-32 ° C. Maturation takes place in oak barrels for about 12 months before bottling.

This Chianti Classico Riserva is characterized by an intense bright red. It has an important bouquet, with hints of red berry fruits, enriched with pleasant spicy aromas. On the palate it is pleasantly elegant and refined, with rich fruity sensations.

Perfect to accompany red meats, game and game, it is ideal in combination with rich dishes based on meat sauce and aged cheeses.
