Description
The Chianti Classico reserve of Castello di Uzzano was born in vineyards located on the hills of Greve in Chianti, Tuscany.
It is produced with pure Sangiovese grapes, left to ferment for 16 - 18 days at a controlled temperature of 20-22 ° C. The wine ages for at least a year in steel and cement tanks, allowing the complete development of secondary aromas. Then it is placed in wooden barrels for 6 months and in French oak barriques, where the permanence will enrich the bouquet with light spicy notes. The wine then ages in the bottle for 3 months before being marketed.
This Chianti Classico Riserva has a lively ruby red color with orange reflections. The perfume is intensely vinous, with marked notes of violet and a pronounced finesse character in the aging phase; spicy shades of leather and vanilla complete the bouquet. In the mouth it is harmonious and dry, with a good sapidity and a slight tannicity, and is refined over time with the soft and velvety.
Due to its characteristics, it is ideal in combination with particularly structured dishes. Perfect to accompany red meats and furred game, it is ideal with seasoned cheeses and savory first courses with meat-based dressings.
