Chianti Classico DOCG 2015 Val delle Corti

The Chianti Classico of Val delle Corti was born in vineyards located in Radda in Chianti, in the province of Siena.

It is mainly produced with Sangiovese and Canaiolo grapes, harvested and selected exclusively by hand. Fermentation takes place at controlled temperature in steel tanks, with maceration in contact with the skins for 4 months of part of the must. Subsequently the wine ages for 24 months in Slavonian barrels and for 3 months in bottle before being released on the market.

This Chianti Classico is characterized by an intense ruby red color. The nose opens with pleasant notes of cherry, enriched with hints of thyme and mint. On the palate it is sapid and rightly tannic, slightly spicy.

Perfect to accompany red meats and game, it is ideal in combination with aged cheeses.
