Chianti Classico Gran Selezione DOCG Bellezza 2012 Castello di Gabbiano

The Chianti Classico Beauty Grand Selection of Castello di Gabbiano was born in vineyards located in the heart of the DOCG Chianti Classico.

It is produced entirely with Sangiovese grapes, selected from a single vineyard in the castle, and managed with the utmost care. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation takes place in new French oak barrels, then the wine ages for 14 months in first and second passage French oak barriques and then in the bottle, before being released on the market.

The Chianti Classico Bellezza of Castello di Gabbiano is characterized by a ruby red color with light garnet hues. The nose expresses the typical hints of the variety, based on red fruits and flowers, enriched with spicy and toasted notes. On the palate it is elegant and decisive, structured and soft, well balanced in the sweetness of the tannin.

Perfect accompaniment to game and full-bodied roasts, it is ideal in combination with aged cheeses.
