Description

The Chianti Classico Riserva Castello di Bibbione of the Castelli del Grevepesa winery was born in vineyards located in Bibbione in the municipality of San Casciano in Val di Pesa, in the fantastic scenery of the Bibbione Castle of the Marquis Rangoni Machiavelli.

It is produced with Sangiovese and Merlot grapes, selected and harvested entirely by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 28 ° C for about 10 days. Subsequently the wine ages partly in stainless steel tanks for 12 months and partly in barriques for 18 months, followed by a further refinement of 3 months in bottle.

Bibbione Castle is characterized by a very intense ruby red color. The nose opens with a lively and cheerful bouquet, with intense hints of ripe fruit, enriched with notes of vanilla. On the palate it is velvety, sapid, balanced, full-bodied and broad.

Perfect to pair with aged cheeses, it is ideal served with game recipes or grilled red meats.
