Chianti Classico DOCG 2014 Cavalli - Tenuta degli Dei

The Chianti Classico of Tenuta degli Dei is born in vineyards located in Panzano in the Florentine municipality of Greve in Chianti.

It is produced entirely with Sangiovese grapes, harvested and selected by hand. Fermentation takes place, with maceration for 8-10 days, in steel tanks at controlled temperature. After malolactic fermentation, the wine ages for 14 months in tonneaux and for another 6 months in bottle before being placed on the market.

This Chianti Classico is characterized by a bright ruby red color. The nose opens with floral hints of violet, enriched with evident aromas of cherry and plum, with notes of cinnamon and tobacco. On the palate it follows the sensations perceived by the nose and proves to be a fresh and persistent wine.

Perfect to accompany red meats and game, it is ideal in combination with aged cheeses.
