Description

The Chianti Classico Riserva produced by Casale dello Sparviero is a wine of great finesse and elegance, characterized by aromatic complexity and long persistence. The vineyards are located in Castellina in Chianti on a mixed clay and sandy soil. Entirely made from Sangiovese grapes, it is a wine capable of expressing personality and structure, maintaining a remarkable harmony that makes it immediately pleasant and capable of evolving over time with great character.

The grapes undergo a 15-day fermentation on the skins in concrete containers at a controlled temperature. Aging continues for 18 months in French oak barriques, followed by at least 6 months in the bottle.

It displays a ruby red color with garnet hues. On the nose, it reveals intense aromas of ripe forest fruits, jam, and spices, with prominent notes of pepper and sweet tobacco. The taste is austere and structured, with a full-bodied and deep profile.

Ideal with important dishes based on red meats, game, or hard aged cheeses.
