Chianti Classico DOCG Sicelle 2012 Pasolini dall'Onda

The Chianti Classico Sicelle di Pasolini dall'Onda was born in vineyards located in the historic Barberino di Val d'Elsa farm, in the heart of the extraordinary Chianti area.

It is mainly produced with Sangiovese grapes and with grapes of other complementary vines, harvested between the end of September and the beginning of October. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 28-30 ° C for 15 days. Subsequently the wine ages in barriques for 5 months and for further 2 months in bottle before being released on the market.

It is characterized by an intense ruby red color. The nose opens with an intense and vinous bouquet, with pleasant aromas of red fruits. On the palate it is pleasantly delicate, full-bodied and with a good persistence.

Perfect to accompany first courses with meat sauce, it is ideal in combination with red meats and aged cheeses.
