Description

The Chianti Classico Gran Selezione Vigneti di Campolungo is the quintessence of the fine and elegant style of the Lamole company, but also the maximum expression of the Tuscan wine par excellence, the Chianti.

The grapes, Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon, are carefully selected from the most suitable vineyards, located on schist soils rich in galestro at an altitude of 350-500 meters. The fermenting must is subjected to the bleeding technique, which maximizes contact with the skins. At the end of the alcoholic fermentation, the wine ages in small barrels and tonneaux for a period of about 2 years.

It is intense in its ruby red hue. The nose opens hints of red flowers, sweet spices and tobacco, while the taste persuades with a structure made of body and taste, tannin and softness, freshness and persistent aromaticity.

Recommended in combination with a roasted or, even better, stuffed quail.
