Description
The Chianti Colli Fiorentini Riserva San Camillo of Tenuta Il Corno was born in vineyards located in the heart of the Val di Pesa, in the cellar built in the XII century by an ancient Florentine family, of Pistoia origin, the Del Corno.
It is produced exclusively with Sangiovese grapes, harvested during the beginning of October. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 28-30 ° C. Subsequently the wine ages in oak barrels for 6-8 months, before being bottled.
It is characterized by an intense purple red color, with garnet reflections. The nose opens with a spicy bouquet, with hints of pepper and iris. On the palate it is elegant, soft and intense, with a balanced body.
Perfect to accompany dishes with meat sauce, it is ideal in combination with red and roasted meats.
