Description
The Chianti Rufina of the I Veroni winery was born in vineyards located in the Municipality of Pontassieve, in the heart of the Chianti Rufina.
It is produced 90% with Sangiovese grapes and 10% with Canaiolo Nero and Colorino grapes. Fermentation takes place in thermo-conditioned stainless steel tanks for about 15 days, then the wine ages in oak barriques for 12-14 months and rests for a further 6 months in the bottle.
This Chianti Rufina is characterized by a ruby red color with violet reflections. The nose is intense and persistent, with pleasant hints of small berries and ripe red fruits. On the palate it is sapid, pleasantly balanced and harmonious, with a marked and persistent body.
Perfect to accompany typical Tuscan dishes, it is ideal in combination with red meats, game, noble poultry and white meats.
