Description
Cabernet Merlot by Erasmo is born in vineyards located in San Javier de Loncomilla, in the heart of the Maule Valley, Chile.
It is produced with Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Syrah grapes, harvested and selected by hand between February and March. Fermentation takes place, with indigenous yeasts, in stainless steel vats and is followed by a long maceration. After malolactic fermentation, the wine ages for 18 months in French oak barrels and for another 12 months in bottle before being released on the market.
Cabernet Merlot by Erasmo is characterized by an intense red color. The nose opens with a large and intense bouquet of red fruit, enriched with vanilla notes and balsamic nuances. On the palate it is broad, fresh and savory, with velvety tannins.
Perfect to accompany red meats, pastas and stews.
