Description
Wakefield's Shiraz Jaraman comes from the specially suited soils of the Clare Valley in South Australia.
With the presence of sea breezes and a warm climate tempered by low night temperatures, the grapes ferment to then mature in American oak barrels for at least 12 months before bottling.
The result is a wine with an intense ruby red color with purple reflections, accompanied by notes of plum and blackberry finished with notes of coffee beans and a fine spiciness. On the palate it is soft and full with a return of ripe fruit, well integrated tannins and a long finish.
Try it with meats cooked on the barbecue and served with spicy sauces.
