Colli della Toscana Centrale IGT Rosso Minna e Moro 2011 Tenuta Il Corno
Description
The Colli della Toscana Centrale Minna and Moro of Tenuta Il Corno is born in vineyards located in the heart of the Val di Pesa, in the cellar built in the twelfth century by an ancient Florentine family, of Pistoia origin, the Del Corno.
It is produced with Colorino and Sangiovese grapes, harvested during the first week of October. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 28-30 ° C. Subsequently the wine ages in oak barrels for 10-12 months before being bottled.
It is characterized by an intense ruby red color, with violet reflections. The nose opens with sweet aromas of blackberry, enriched with pleasant notes of vanilla, cocoa and tobacco. On the palate it is soft, with pleasantly fine tannins.
Perfect to accompany meat sauce dishes, it is ideal in combination with roasts and game.
