Description
The aromatic Traminer is produced by the Antico Borgo dei Colli company, located in the Friulian Collio and precisely in Prepotto. The vineyards are located in the Judrio valley, on the border with the Italian and Slovenian Collio.
The aromatic Traminer grapes are softly pressed and then fermented in thermoregulated steel tanks, without carrying out the malolactic fermentation. The wine ages in steel and cement tanks on its fine lees for 6 months.
Golden yellow in color, it is expressed on the nose with aromas of roses, pineapple and yellow apple. The sip is dry and intense, with a persistent finish.
Excellent with seafood and white meats, but also with seasoned and blue cheeses.
