Description

Renato Ratti's Derthona Timorasso is a white wine from Piedmont, produced in the Colli Tortonesi area, specifically in the municipality of Sarezzano, a region renowned for wines with a strong personality. Made from 100% Timorasso grapes, it represents one of the most authentic expressions of this native varietal, known for its structure, longevity, and pronounced territorial identity.

The grapes are harvested by hand and gently pressed after destemming. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled steel tanks, where the wine remains in contact with fine lees for an extended period, with regular bâtonnage that enhances its complexity and structure. The aging process continues in steel and then in the bottle, preserving freshness and elegance.

It displays a bright straw yellow color. On the nose, it offers delicate aromas with citrus notes and hints of lemon peel, complemented by mineral nuances. On the palate, it is full-bodied, savory, and well-balanced, with significant structure and a lingering finish that highlights its complexity.

Ideal with appetizers, first courses, fish, and white meats.
