Description
The Nebbiolo Agamium is produced by the Antichi Vigneti di Cantalupo winery in Piedmont, in the hilly area of Ghemme, on morainic soils rich in minerals. The grapes come from the vineyards of Carella, Baraggiola, and Valera, trained in spurred cordon trellis with Guyot pruning. This wine embodies the essence of Nebbiolo in a young and immediate version, capable of expressing elegance and territoriality with naturalness.
After harvesting, vinification takes place with brief maceration and malolactic fermentation. The wine ages for about a year in small oak barrels, followed by a few months in the bottle before release.
Brilliant ruby red in color, it offers distinct and varietal aromas on the nose. On the palate, it is balanced, with crisp fruit and a fine structure that enhances the typical character of Nebbiolo, enriched by a well-integrated oak dosage that does not overpower the wine's freshness.
Excellent with cured meats, pasta dishes with ragù, and flavorful white meats.
