Description

Friulano Fùrlana was born in the vineyards of Conti Formentini which grow on the most suitable hills for this grape variety, in the municipalities of the Zegla and San Floriano del Collio area. The name of this wine derives from a term of the local dialect which means to speak Friulano, to amplify the belonging to this region.

It is produced entirely with Friulano grapes, harvested by hand in the second half of September. A part of the harvest is placed in plateaux, while the other begins the fermentation process. When the fermenting must reaches the right temperature, the resting part is added using the infusion technique. The fermentation therefore slows down, in order to amplify the aromaticity, the aromas and aromas typical of this grape variety.

Friulano Fùrlana is characterized by a straw yellow color, with soft green reflections. The nose opens with an intense and fragrant aroma, with notes of wildflowers and bitter almonds that blend with sweet honey sensations. In the mouth it shows a good softness and a full body, with a distinct and pleasant bitterish peach kernel background that remains on the palate for a long time.

It goes perfectly with fish and shellfish, ideal for an aperitif.
