Description
Schiopetto's Ribolla Gialla is a white wine produced in the Collio Goriziano area, made from Ribolla Gialla grapes grown on hilly soils of Eocene marl. This grape variety, deeply rooted in Friulian tradition and also widespread in the nearby Slovenian Brda, expresses a strong territorial identity and remarkable aromatic finesse in this area.
The winemaking process involves fermentation in temperature-controlled steel tanks to preserve the delicate varietal aromas. The wine then matures in stainless steel for several months and completes its aging with a further period in the bottle, maintaining freshness and expressive elegance.
It presents a bright straw yellow color with golden highlights. The nose is fresh and fragrant, with delicate notes of hazelnut and wildflowers. On the palate, it is elegant and harmonious, with a well-defined floral component and a long, subtle final acidity that gives vibrancy and persistence.
Ideal as an aperitif, it pairs perfectly with shellfish and raw fish dishes.
