Description

Sauvignon Blanc Ronco del Frassino is synonymous with outstanding quality in Friuli, a region renowned for exceptional wine production. This excellence is expressed in the terraced vineyards located on the slopes of the Collio hills—the "Ronchi"—nestled in a wooded landscape dominated by ash trees. That’s where the estate gets its name. The label pays tribute to this ecosystem through the feather of the Tyto alba (Barn Owl), a silent guardian that often finds refuge in the natural hollows of centuries-old ash trees, using their branches as perches during its nocturnal patrols.

Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 18°C, followed by maturation, also in stainless steel.

Its straw-yellow color with bright greenish highlights shines in the glass, while the nose reveals elegant vegetal notes combined with hints of tropical fruit, peach, and citrus. The palate is permeated by its marked freshness, decisive savoriness, and excellent persistence.

This is the ideal wine to perfectly accompany asparagus, shellfish, herb-based first courses, or fresh goat cheeses.
