Description
This Collio Chardonnay was born in the vineyards of the Colmello di Grotta farm, a very interesting reality located in Farra d'Isonzo, in the province of Gorizia.
Obtained from 100% Chardonnay grapes, harvested manually in the second ten days of September, this wine is left to ferment partly in steel and partly in oak, at constantly controlled temperatures. Refine in the same containers for a short time, before being bottled.
The Collio Chardonnay of Colmello di Grotta shows a bright straw yellow color. The nose has interesting fruity aromas and a light, very elegant woody note. In the mouth it shows a harmonious flavor and an excellent balance, with a very interesting final persistence.
To be consumed in the first three years of life, this Chardonnay goes perfectly with white meats and not too elaborate appetizers. Excellent with fish dishes and soft cheeses.
