Description

The Phoenix of the Penley Estate company is made with 100% Cabernet Sauvignon in the Australian area of Coonawarra

The small region in the southern part of Australia is famous for its red earth giving wines of great concentration. With vines over 20 years of age, the harvest is carried out mechanically. After fermentation and maceration, the wine ages for 12 months in French oak for 70%, while the remaining 30% remains in steel.

Of a beautiful ruby red of great intensity, it presents a complex bouquet of plum, blackberry and anise finished with touches of dark cocoa. On the palate it is warm and harmonious, with a return of ripe fruit and velvety tannins that anticipate a long finish.

Perfect for grilled meat as in the best Australian tradition.
