Description
Bianco delle Ripalte sees the light on the Elban coasts in the Fattoria delle Ripalte, in Poggio Turco.
The wine is produced 90% with Vermentino grapes and 10% with Petit Manseng grapes harvested by hand in the first days of September. After a soft pressing, the must is fermented at a controlled temperature. At the end of this phase, after a rough decantation, the wine remains in contact with the lees for a few months. Bottle refinement follows.
Bianco delle Ripalte has a straw yellow color with golden reflections. The nose offers an elegant perfume with hints of white fruit and citrus combined with Mediterranean notes. On the palate it is fresh, harmonious and of good minerality. The aftertaste is pleasantly savory with the hint, typical in Vermentino, of bitter almond.
It goes perfectly with fish dishes, ideal with vegetables and fresh cheeses.
