Description

Crisopa by Nanclares y Prieto is a pure Albariño produced in Rias Baixas near Pontevedra.

The maritime climate characterized by high humidity is ideal for this white grape variety. With the harvest carried out towards the end of August, the manual selection of the grapes in the vineyard ends with the harvest in 15 kg boxes directly transported to the cellar. The grapes are pressed with the feet and fermentation takes place without adding yeasts for a further 20 days. After mechanical pressing, the wine ages in used 500-liter barrels with weekly batonnage and aging on the lees for at least 3 months before being bottled.

Straw yellow in color of medium intensity, it has lemon peel, grapefruit and nectarine on the nose to evolve into green apple and white melon on the palate. With good salinity and maintaining a medium-high acidity, it resolves in an elegant and balanced way through a mineral and persistent finish.

Perfect for sushi and grilled vegetables, complete with grilled white meats, grilled sea bream and baked sea bass.
