Cava DO L'Hereu 2013 Raventós i Blanc
Description
The Hereu of the Raventos i Blanc company was born in the vineyards of Catalonia, Spain. This sparkling wine represents a reference point for the DO Cava denomination.
Following the biodynamic regime, the grapes (Macabeo, Parellada, Xarel-lo) are harvested and selected entirely by hand. The first fermentation takes place in separate grapes. Then, after assembly, the product is left to ferment in the bottle for at least 18 months.
It is characterized by a golden yellow color, with a small but persistent perlage. The nose offers a citrus, yellow apple and pear aroma, to which are added mineral notes in the background. On the palate it is fresh, clean and elegant. The aftertaste takes up the aromas of apple with notes of ginger, lime and mineral flavors.
Ideal for the aperitif moment, it goes perfectly with appetizers.
