Dolcetto d'Alba DOC Sant'Anna 2016 Principiano

Ferdinando Principiano's Dolcetto d'Alba Sant'Anna originates in Piedmont, in that magical casket of land and vineyards that responds to the name of Langa.

It comes from vineyards with over 40 years of age located in the two locations Sant'Anna and San Martino di Monforte d'Alba, at an altitude of about 400 meters above sea level and facing south-west. The harvest is followed by a spontaneous fermentation which lasts between two and four weeks. At the end of this phase, the wine ages in steel tanks and finally in the bottle.

Dense and brilliant ruby red, at sight. The bouquet plays on a red fruit reminiscent of raspberry, strawberry and red fruit in general, inserted on a background composed of light spicy notes and earthy memories. The sip confirms the character of the fruit and the tannic texture typical of the variety, condensed in a balanced weave.

Perfect accompaniment to a dish of tajarin with ragù.
