Description

Always linked to the land of the Langhe, the Burlotto family manages a historic cellar in Verduno, in the northernmost area of the Barolo appellation. The Dolcetto vineyards are located in the Verduno area (Neirane and Perno) and in Roddi (Cadia).

The grape harvest usually takes place in mid-September. Part of the grapes are not destemmed, while all are vinified with maceration and fermentation of approx. a week. The wine ages for a few months in 35-50hl Slavonian and Allier oak barrels.

The color is ruby red and the bouquet is characterized by fruity aromas and hints of spices. The sip is fresh and juicy, with a good persistence.

To be combined with first courses with meat sauce, stewed meats and cheeses.
