Description
It is a Burgundy red that has its roots in the Cote de Nuits and in the history of a French family who, at the beginning of the twentieth century, began to vinify extraordinary grapes of excellent Cru.
The Pinot Noir grapes are harvested starting from the Grand Cru Échezeaux, nestled between two giants such as La Tâche and Romanée-Conti. After a fermentation of 15-18 days in open oak vats at low temperature, it refines for 16-20 months in mainly new oak barrels.
On the nose the red fruit intertwines with the spices, against the background of an earthy texture. In the mouth, it wraps with a balanced body and with a perfectly integrated tannin, fading on a pleasant trail of tobacco that paints its core.
To be combined with a crusted fillet of beef.
