Description

The Emilia Rosso Macchiona of the La Stoppa winery originates in organic vineyards located in the municipality of Rivergaro, in the province of Piacenza.

This wine is the result of a blend of Barbera and Bonarda grapes. , which ferment with only indigenous yeasts, macerating on the skins for 30 days. The wine ages for 12 months in Slavonian oak barrels and for another 24 months in bottle, before being placed on the market.

It has an intense ruby red color. On the nose it is accompanied with notes of cherry and dried figs, with hints of coffee and thyme. In the mouth it is creamy and refined, pleasantly persistent in the finish.

Recommended to accompany first courses with meat sauce, roasted meats and game, it goes well with aged cheeses.
