Description

The Franciacorta Extra Brut Rosè of the Camossi winery comes from vineyards between the ages of 15 and 25 located in the municipalities of Erbusco, Paratico and Provaglio d'Iseo, in the silt-clay morainic soils of the western area of the Brescia wine region famous for its sparkling wine excellence.

It is produced entirely with Pinot Noir grapes, carefully picked and selected by hand. After the classic red winemaking processes, the wine follows a period of aging on the lees for at least 24 months. The second fermentation takes place by refermentation in the bottle, according to the Classic Method, followed by 3 months of aging in bottle after disgorgement.

Camossi Extra Brut Rosè is characterized by a soft pink color and a fine and persistent perlage. The nose opens with elegant notes of cherry and blackberry, with hints of spices, white chocolate and bay leaf. On the palate it is dry, very fine and complex, with a pleasantly balanced and persistent finish.

Excellent as an aperitif, it is ideal in combination with first courses based on fish and white meats.
