Sannio DOC Fiano Pelike 2014 Oppida Aminea

The Pelike was born in the vineyards of the Oppida Aminea estate, located in the Campania hills of Sannio Beneventano.

This wine is made exclusively with Fiano grapes, carefully picked and selected by hand. After the traditional white vinification processes, the product is left to rest in steel on the lees for at least 6 months, followed by an aging in bottle for another 6 months before being placed on the market.

The Pelike is characterized by a very bright straw yellow color. The nose expresses intense aromas of citrus and ripe fruit, enriched with sweet notes of honey and spices. Peculiarities of this wine: with time and refinement in bottle, acacia honey becomes the predominant and distinctive aromatic note. In the mouth it is sapid and mineral, with a finish of good persistence.

Excellent in combination with fish and shellfish and vegetable dishes.
