Description

The Spumante Franciacorta Brut Montenisa of the Marchesi Antinori was born in the homonymous estate, located south of Lake Iseo, in one of the regions with the highest wine-growing vocation in the region.

It is produced with Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc and a small percentage of Pinot Noir. The first alcoholic fermentation, which takes place partly in stainless steel tanks and partly in barrique, is followed by a second fermentation in bottle and subsequent contact with the yeasts, to a period of at least 30 months. The remouage is done by hand with the classic pupitres, according to the classical tradition. After disgorgement, the bottles rest for at least 3 months.

It is characterized by a yellow color with golden reflections and an abundant foam with fine and persistent perlage. The nose has intense aromas, with notes of white peach and apple and nuances of toasted bread and yeasts. On the palate it is wide and balanced, maintaining a great liveliness.

Perfect as an aperitif, this wine is excellent to accompany raw fish and seafood.
