Description

Berlucchi's Franciacorta Brut Cellarius sparkling wine comes from vineyards located in the heart of Franciacorta.

It is produced 70% with Chardonnay grapes and 30% with Pinot Noir grapes, which undergo a soft and progressive pressing with fractionation of the musts. Subsequently, the must undergoes alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks and a small part in oak barriques, where malolactic fermentation also takes place. The wine ages in contact with the yeasts for about 30 months, and for further 3 months after disgorgement.

Cellarius is characterized by a straw yellow color with soft golden reflections. The nose opens with a fine and elegant perfume, enriched by persistent hints of white fruits and soft floral notes, which blend with the typical aromas of long aging on the lees. On the palate it is pleasantly fresh, with great flavor and acidity. The wine is characterized by an excellent structure, with a balanced and elegant finish.

Perfect to accompany aperitifs, first courses and risotto, it is ideal in combination with fish dishes, white meats and aged cheeses.
