Description

The Franciacorta Brut of Corteaura is born in vineyards located in different municipalities of the magical terroir of Franciacorta.

It is produced entirely with Chardonnay grapes, carefully picked and selected by hand starting from the first ten days of August. After a soft pressing, the fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, at a controlled temperature of 16 ° C. The vinification processes are then calibrated on the basis of the vineyard of origin of the grapes and the base wines are expertly assembled to prepare the cuvée. Subsequently the wine ages in bottle on its lees for about 24 months at a temperature of 12-15 ° C.

The Franciacorta Brut of Corteaura is characterized by a straw yellow color, and a fine and persistent perlage. The nose opens with characteristic hints of bread and yeast crust, enriched with notes of citrus, almond, hazelnut and dry white fig. On the palate it is fresh, sapid and harmonious.

Excellent as an aperitif, it is perfect to accompany fish and vegetable dishes, white meats and aged cheeses.
