Description
What kind of wine is it
The Franciacorta Brut from Lancini is made from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, two varieties that contribute elegance and structure, respectively, to the wine’s profile. The Brut dosage defines a balanced, fresh style, designed to pair with versatility both as an aperitif and at the table.
Where it comes from
The wine bears the signature of Lancini and is produced under the Franciacorta appellation, whose area lies in Lombardy and is dedicated to the production of wines using the Traditional Method.
How it is made
The grapes undergo gentle pressing at low yields and the must ferments in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Tirage takes place in the spring following the harvest, followed by more than thirty months of aging on the lees and a further six months of rest after disgorgement.
Tasting notes
In the glass it shows a straw yellow color with golden highlights. On the nose, ripe fruit aromas emerge, accompanied by fresh citrus notes; on the palate it stands out for freshness and balance, with the structure of Pinot Noir harmoniously integrated with the elegance of Chardonnay.
Food pairing
Thanks to its pronounced freshness, this Franciacorta enhances dishes without overpowering them, and lends itself to accompanying courses that are not overly spicy throughout the meal.
When to serve it
Its fresh, balanced style makes it suitable both as an aperitif and throughout the meal, on any social occasion.
