Description
The Franciacorta Brut di Santus comes from vineyards located in the Brescia municipality of Cellatica, in Lombardy.
It is mainly obtained from Chardonnay grapes and partly from Pinot Noir grapes, harvested and selected by hand. After the classic vinification processes, the second fermentation takes place according to the Classic Method, with refermentation in the bottle and an aging of 21 months on its lees.
The Franciacorta Brut of Santus has a golden yellow color and a fine and persistent perlage. The nose opens with evident notes of citrus and ripe fruit. On the palate it is creamy, complex and slightly savory.
Excellent as an aperitif, this sparkling wine goes well with first and second courses based on fish, white meats and cheeses.
