Description

The Gran Cuvée del Laureato is a Franciacorta sparkling wine made from grapes harvested in the most historic vineyards of the Castello Bonomi winery. Sparkling wine for great occasions, it reconciles the achievement of great results like graduation.

Half of the must obtained from Chardonnay grapes and the other half from Pinot Noir grapes harvested in the same vintage, ferments slowly at low temperature so as to preserve its aromas and freshness. After 8 months of aging between steel tanks and barriques, it begins the phase of second fermentation in the bottle according to the Classic Method with a stop on its lees for 72 months before disgorgement. It does not require the addition of any dosage.

It comes in a bright straw-colored glass with a very minute and persistent perlage. On the nose are evident from the first moments notes of hazelnut and vanilla due to the passage in barrique of Chardonnay, to which are added hints of ripe pineapple. In the mouth it has a strong and fresh taste, of fabric.

It goes well with fish and crudité second courses but does not even disdain white meats.
