Description
What kind of wine it is
Lancini's Franciacorta Rosé is made from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes, combining elegance, structure, and appealing aromatic expression. The Brut dosage supports its balance, enhancing the freshness and character of Pinot Noir in a harmonious style.
Where it comes from
The wine bears the signature of Lancini and is produced under the Franciacorta appellation, whose territory lies in Lombardy and is dedicated to wines made using the Traditional Method.
How it is made
After a brief maceration, the grapes undergo gentle, low-yield pressing and the must ferments in stainless-steel tanks at controlled temperature. Tirage takes place in the spring following the harvest, followed by more than thirty months of aging on the lees and a further six months of rest after disgorgement.
Tasting notes
In the glass it shows a pale pink hue with delicate orange highlights. The nose offers aromas of wild strawberries, redcurrants and red fruits, while the palate reveals the structure and complexity of Pinot Noir, accompanied by fruity and floral nuances and elegant hints of bread crust.
Food pairings
It pairs especially well with flavorful starters and main courses, tomato-based dishes, red meats, aged cheeses, and cured meats.
When to serve it
Its structured character makes it suitable throughout the meal, especially for convivial occasions featuring flavorful dishes.
