Description

What kind of wine it is

The Franciacorta Satèn by Lancini is made from Chardonnay grapes, a refined and elegant expression of the Franciacorta style. The dosage supports its balance and delicacy, enhancing the wine's harmonious character.

Where it comes from

The wine bears the signature of Lancini and is produced under the Franciacorta designation, in the Satèn style, whose area is located in Lombardy and is devoted to wines made using the Traditional Method.

How it is made

The grapes undergo gentle, low-yield pressing, followed by fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks and partial aging in wood. Tirage takes place in the spring following the harvest, while aging on the lees continues for over thirty months, followed by a further six months of rest after disgorgement.

Tasting notes

It appears straw yellow in color. On the nose, aromas of white-fleshed fruit and citrus are accompanied by delicate notes of vanilla. On the palate it stands out for freshness and softness, with a silky mousse that, together with the finesse of the wood-aged Chardonnay, delivers a delicate and elegant sip.

Food pairings

Ideal as an aperitif, it pairs beautifully with seafood appetizers, risottos, fish dishes, white meats, mildly aged cheeses, and delicate or lightly spiced preparations.

When to serve it

Its fresh, delicate style makes it suitable for the aperitif moment and throughout the meal, especially alongside lighter dishes.
