Description
The Friuli Colli Orientali Biancosesto of the La Tunella winery is born in vineyards located in the heart of the Friulian Hills. Thanks to their unmistakable style, La Tunella wines are the perfect expression of the terroir.
It is produced with Friulano and Ribolla Gialla grapes, two extraordinary white Friulian varieties, harvested and selected entirely by hand towards the second week of September. After a short cold maceration, the must is statically cold decanted and subsequently ferments and refines in oak barrels at controlled temperature, with frequent bâtonnage.
It is characterized by a bright straw yellow color with greenish reflections. The nose opens with an elegant and refined bouquet of vanilla and acacia flowers, enriched with pleasant fresh notes of fruit and white flowers. On the palate it has a great personality, with a pleasantly almondy long finish.
Perfect to accompany aperitifs, first courses and mushrooms, it is ideal in combination with dishes based on fish, molluscs and crustaceans.
