Friuli Colli Orientali DOC Myò Friulano 2016 Zorzettig
Description
The Friulano from the Myò di Zorzettig selection comes from the company vineyards located in the municipality of Spessa in the province of Pavia, in the heart of the DOC Friuli Colli Orientali.
It is made from Friulano grapes, harvested only by hand in the second ten days of September. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature for 10 days. Subsequently the wine ages for 6 months on the noble lees before being bottled.
This Friulian is characterized by a straw yellow color, with slight greenish reflections. A slight spicy hint of licorice, accompanied by fruity notes of citrus and ripe pear, immediately jumps to the nose. On the palate it is fresh and soft, with a good flavor, with a pleasant aftertaste of sweet almond.
Its freshness is excellent for accompanying appetizers with raw ham and first courses of soups and risotto.
